This program aims to fully develop learners within the food and beverage packaging sector by providing recognition, enhancing mobility, and enabling portability within the beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods industries. Participants will complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership.

The Learnership:

Participants will gain exposure to:

  • Bottling procedures and protocols
  • Adherence to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Quality testing and standards
  • Proper food handling practices


  • Self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong team interaction skills
  • Effective team collaboration abilities


  • Completion of Grade 12 with Mathematics (excluding Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences with a minimum of 40%
  • Proficiency in two South African languages with a minimum of 40%
  • No prior completion of the same qualification/learnership at another organization Other Requirements:
  • South African Citizenship
  • Employment Equity candidate
  • Unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Age between 18-35 years
  • Commitment to a 12-month learnership program
